*Phew* it’s been a busy summer for me. The cute stationery shop I worked at closed this spring, prompting me to really make a go of it selling my art. I started a stationery line of my own called Concertina Press, and I’ve gotten my books and cards into a few shops on the Cape locally (if you have any suggestions of a little shop near you that I should check out, leave a message in the comments – I’m always looking for new places to approach!)
I started a new product line of 7″x9″ guestbooks – the photo above is a hefty pile of 10 I was working on to distribute to The Little Beach Gallery in Hyannis and The Pink Polka Dot in Falmouth (with my lovely bookbinding awl). Finished all of those up, and I moved on to smaller sized books, here’s a sight familiar to many a bookbinder, I’m sure:
What do you do with all of these little cute triangles – I’ve stopped trying to save them, they went in the recycling bin *sniff* but I did take this photo for posterity!
Hope you’re all having a great summer! (or winter, in the southern hemisphere 🙂
